of Gun positions - two of our guns are knocked out by Enemys fire. Lots of caslts horror wherever one goes, the little white crosses are beginning to be very evident on the Hillsides (generally made of packing cases & inscribed with indelible pencil. Heavy Enemy Gun fire from direction of KABA TEPE. Enemy has certainly good observers lots more casualties & horses & mules killed. H.E. Shell of large calibre fell in 1 Bn Trenches at 7.15 last night. Helping BROWN with working parties etc to improve his position.
