fire on Guns & Infy. in Infy trenches on right of line. BROWNE fired with good effect on about 200 Turks in open about 6 a.m. this morning who were advancing to attack QUINNS POST. He was heavily shelled by enemy afterwards, who got P. Shell through his shield 1 gun & smashed up dial sight. May 11th Met Gen Walker & gave instructions as he wished for emplacing gun in Infy trenches above his H.Q.s at head of Gully & also for New Zealand Gun in CLAYTONS trench.
