(Gun badly damaged HUGES Bg.) to Major MARTIN for Road to proposed new Gun Empl. on "covered way" firing towards KABE TEPE. Quieter day than usual. May 13th. Met Col. McLagan - Major CLOGSTON & Maj HUGHES at HOGES Battery with view of improving Gun emplacements - gave instruction for new communications & lowering gun emplacements. Met G.O.C. at BROWNS Battery, fired 20 rounds about our Building near OLIVE GROVE by G.O.C. order but found they were out of range. Heavily shelled by enemy during the process.
