Os/c 1st & 3rd Art Bdes & O/C 11th Bn re another Infy raid opposite Right Group - Inspected new Gun emplacements 22nd Batt. & Wagon lines 102 & 4th Batts Very wet day - Got my 8 days leave for England June 14th Went to LA.GORGE to see C.R.A. 61st Div as to whether he was willing to keep the same arrangements for barrage fire on our right & his left as 38th Div he consented to do so. At. Left Group. H.Qs. met Col Wisdon at lunch. Meeting of Os/c Bdes & D.A.C. at 3/30 p.m. to let them know my wishes during my absence on leave. (Showery) June 15th On leave, left by motor car at 6.10 a.m. for Boulogne arrived 9 a.m.(new time from last night when clocks were put on an hour at 10 p.m.) Boat sailed at 11/30 a.m. arrived Folkestone 1 p.m. Victoria 4 p.m. Wife & Dorothy met me. Arrived Richmond about 5 p.m. Saw Children at School Selwyn House. fine day.
