REDOUBT BERNAFAY Woods & H.A. H.Qs VIVIER MILL & other places. 'X' I also prepared an acceptable Scheme for the re organization of the Field Art of the Corps & the programme of Training for Bde etc in rest. In addition I Supervised the redistribution of the Art consequent on the side step by the Corps to the right - this entailed moving under great difficulty (especially as far as the 12th D.A & 5th Aust D.A were concerned) the 1st 2nd 4th 5th Aust Div Art the 30th 12th 29th D.A & the whole of the Heavy Art part of which had to be transfd to other Corps. The weather has been cold & generally wet. the mud in the front Areas & Side Roads terrible. I was very seedy on Sat the 25th. Nov. 29th Office in morning -

'X'  In Afternoon attend a demonstration of Gun apparatus in various form of discharge, throwing from mortar oil drivers & heavy gas Cylinders. (one burst at firing point & nearly led to a disaster) & flammenwafer throwing a flame about 100 yds about 30' in diameter at (fine day) TREUX WOOD
