In afternoon with G.S.Os. 1 & 3 went to Bayonet & Bullet Exercise at SENLIS by 8th Bde. Bgdr present Inspected Horses in Stables of 18th Coy. A.S.C. at SENLIS. Dined with Gen BIRDWOOD at QUERRIER June 23rd heavy showers in morning fine rest of day. 8.a.m. To Range at AVEULEY with G.S.O.1 Saw 2 Corps of 14th Bde go through attack Exercise. Work very unsatisfactory. told Gen HOBKIRK so. Went to see Gen ELLIOTT comdg 15th Bde who had just returned from leave in afternoon. June 24th Sunday. beautiful day. To church parade with 15th Bde in morning. Went to hear splendid band of the LA GARDE REPUBLICAINE play at AMIENS very enjoyable afternoon June 25 - Fine day. shower in Afternoon To Rifle range with G.S.O.2 & G.O.C. 15th Infy Bde. to see Companies of 15th Bde going through Coy attack Exercise. June 26th - Beautiful day. In morniing at Artillery Range MONTINGY looking for maneuvers ground for Infantry.
