June 29th Fine day. In morning inspecting 8th Infy. Bde Transport & M.G. Coy. included near SENLIS. Infy. Bgdr present. Satisfactory Inspection. Also inspected musketry on Range near by. 29th Bn firing Col. Purser present. In Afternoon present at Inspection of 3 Bns 54.55.56th - 14 Infy. Bde by Corps Condr. & Mr. HOLMAN from N.S.W. (parade at HENNENCOURT medals & medal ribbons presented by Corps Comdr. June 30th - Wet cold miserable day. Nothing doing - Archdeacon WARD arrived to lecture on Venereal disease July 1st Dull day - quite cool. 10.am - Church parade of 8th Infy Bde. 8th F. Amb. 8th M.G. Coy & L.T.M. Batt. near SENLIS The Corps Commander & Mr. HOLMAN attended. The Corp Comds afterwards presented Medals & Ribbons & addressed the parades as also did Mr. Holman. Afterwards a platoon of the 30th Bn & a del. from L.T.M. Batt. gave an exhibition of an attack with Bomb Grenades Rifle & L.G. fire & L.T.
