arranged as part of training for all Infantry Bdes & F. Ambs. July 19. Dull cloudy day cool. slight drizzle at times To BEHENCOURT to see Machine Gun School. but work had been discontinued without notice having been sent us To CORBIE to see 15 Infy Bde 15th F. Amb. & 15 M.G. Coy on march & cross pontoon bridges. The exercise was extremely satisfactory. The whole of the 15th Infy Bde cleared the two bridges in 28 minutes the record. In evening at concert by 53rd Bn to celebrate anniversary of their 1st Battle at FROMELLES Spoke after concert. July 20th Fine bright cool day. At 8.am left for BOUZINCOURT to watch an advance Guard Exercise by 8th Infy. Bde. 30 & 32nd Bns. A good many faults were evident chiefly caused by want of a good umpire staff.
