to AIRE to inspect INGLIS Bridge for heavy traffic Box type. thought it the best thing of its kind I had seen. In Afternoon inspected new Div pack transport Coy - then visited G.O.C. 14th Infy Bde afterwards attended lecture given by Maj BARLEY 2nd Army Gas Officer on precautions etc against gas. Sept. 6th fine morning. T. Storm about 7.pm. In morning went to see 15th Infy. Bde. in an Exercise to practice new attack formations near SERCUS. In afternoon went with G.S.O.1 in KEMMEL to try & get a general view of battle front too misty to see very much Sept. 7th fine day. In morning saw 56th Bn. in an exercise in new attack formation near EBBLINGHAM. told Bgd. Gen to arrange at once for a Bde Exercise same as 15th Infy Bde. In Afternoon at lecture by Capt.
