Medallion Procedure Applications for the Anzac commemorative medallion, which the Federal government has made available for Gallipoli veterans, must be sent to the secretary, Department of the Army, Canberra. Service details, including full name, service number and unit, must accompany applications. Next-of-kin of dead veterans applying for the medallion should give their relationship to the deceased. The medallion is available to all members of the Australian defence forces who served during the Gallipoli Campaign, between April 25, 1915, and January 8, 1916. [Page 49]
