Wounded 8 54 Killed 5 Missing 1 Retd to Heliopolis 6 to units 3 9 attached 2 1 26 556 Interviewed Bde H Qrs with Capt McMasters + went fully into matters + he arranged to amplify his statement before again sending on to Army H Qrs which he is now doing - Also interviewed Gene Russell, re letter from Army H Qrs re Capt Robinson asking for information + handed in my reply + Robinson's report. Inspected A sect trenches + viewed Snipers ridge + saw Turks - Reported to me that Turks seen carrying sheet of iron there this morning - 29/6/15 Very heavy shell fire all evening. Turks attacked Walkers Ridge + were heavily repulsed. Sent out reconnoitring patrol from N of outpost in Latrine Valley, who reported all clear.
