[Page 11] 31 8/15 Hill 60 Kaiajik Aghala 10th Reg. supply garrison for works seized on 29th inst. They consolidate the position & maintain vigorous bomb duel. Open up new fire trench to join up with Ghurkas who occupy position [word crossed out] line between HILL 60 & CHOCOLATE HILLS. Enemy 75 MM gun enfilades trench. There are no casualties but miraculous escapes. Snipers become busy. 19th Battalion arrive in the section having just landed in Gallipoli - Bivouac No 6 section vigorously shelled 9/15 Hill 60 Kaiajik Aghala Fire trench is re-enforced by Officers & other ranks of Territorials and New Zealanders which with 25 men from 10th regt constitutes garrison of this particular sector & center. Command of officer of 10th on duty. Strengthen & improve existing works. Instal [sic] telephone. Maintain brisk bomb duel. Enemy 75 MM gun enfilading. Kills 3 & wounds 5 men of 19th Battalion
