April 11 Visit place near Villiers [Villers] Bocage. Eggs & chips accompanied by Long Waights Plowes Garlick Puddicombe. Rode home in Staff Car. April 12 Leave Flesselles 11.30 am arrive at spot 5 Kilometers from Amiens, visit Longpre. April 13 Reveille 1 am breakfast 1.30 am depart 2 am arrive Amiens Station Bombed & shelled many wounded & killed, board train 11.10 am leave 1.15 pm Letter from Gertie. April 14 arrived Hondgihem [Honeghem] 5 am march to Hazebrouck wounded at 11 am sent in Car to 15 C.C.S at Eberingham [Ebblinghem] placed in Ambulance 7 pm waited till 1 am next morning. [Page 64]
