Moderate breezes & Clear Wr sowed some melon seeds the Corpl. planting potatoes. 1 day since settling Acct. The Turner family still at the whale. Friday 28 South. Moderate & Cloudy Wr. planted some potatoes. made a new Melon bed near the Redoubt. Settled with Ryan and paid him his balance £1.19.8. Saturday 29 North Moderate Wr. & Cloudy towards Sun set the wind freshened to a Gale. finished melon beds - sowed french beans Sunday 30 North Moderate Wr. & Clear. read divine Service 10th Arnold. the Calves Hannibil, Pilgrim & Daphne turned out. October Monday 1st Fine clear & moderate Wr. Settled my account with Welsh and paid him £2.18.1. Tuesday 2nd NW. Fresh breezes & Cloudy some heavy showers during the day the Corpl left here for the Vasse.
