Rolles could not resist the opportunity An harpoon was quickly struck and one of the poor creatures made a captive. I did not know before that every fish excepting the dolphins changed colour whilst dying but our poor porpoise irridescent changes equally vivid and I should think almost as beautiful. This incident detained us upon deck later than usual but we all retired the better for a little excitement even of this sanguinary nature. Monday 24 A beautiful day and a fair wind.
