We now I think begin to enjoy the often described delights of the Southern Latitudes It is impossible to say how sweetly and softly the sea breezes play around us and then the lovely moon light nights for parties on the deck become more cheerful every evening and Bessey & I begin to anticipate our meeting with our beloved Brothers with more gladness of spirit than we were at first able to command. This evening after tea we leant over the side of the ship together and she sang to me the dear "Swan song" and "Home sweet home".
