Captain Rolles is just the person to enjoy any practical joke although he professes to dislike the ceremony and if I am not mistaken Mr. Joseph Harris will fare the worse for his present show of assistance Monday. William Harris brought me a flying fish which had been caught the night before It is curious and very much what every one fancies I suppose. I afterwards spent nearly an hour upon the poop trying to see them whilst flying but they are so quick and I am so slow of sight that I could scarcely discern them. Mr. Clarkson was my companion so you see I have not imbibed many of Mrs. Leake's fears. Indeed he is at all times so obliging and enters into conversation on his favourite [Page 35]
