I am now reading "Wilberforce's view of Christianity" which he has lent me Bessey says it is "Will by force" when I do so but it is certain the time would hang very heavily were it not for reading. Tuesday Anticipation of our arrival at St. Jago I have concluded a long letter for home but I fear I shall have no opportunity of sending it as the Captain was heard last night to murmur between his teeth "we shall have no St Jago I can tell them" with strong emphasis Of course this produces great consultations.
