we were all safe again in the little Cygnet and glad enough to find that the winds were once more wafting us on to our new country. My journal is now kept very irregularly but I have little to narrate which can interest writing too is extremely difficult in consequence of the increased motion of the ship and the constant breezes which have attended us since our departure from the Cape You will say the talent of writing has quite deserted me I am really ashamed of what I have just written but their is such loathing round me and one of the miseries of a sea voyage is an undertaken [Page 26]
