I was completely fascinated with Miss Martineau as usual began to read & forgot to lay aside my book till it was quite dark I have not given up my old tricks yet, you see. The peas beans &c must be laid aside for the present so must the bulbs and the apple pips. Alfred will be charmed with the digestic. he has been continually experimentalizing on the old one and latterly with much success.
