Minutes Committee Meeting held at the Council Chambers July 14th 1916 Present: Messers, Glen, Gill, Sukroo, Thurlow, Anderson, Miller, Stove. Mesdames, Gill, Sukroo, Flinders, Thurlow, Anderson, Truslove. Minutes: on the motion of Mr. Gill seconded by Mr. Anderson minutes of previous meeting be confirmed as read. a/c: on the motion of Mr. Anderson seconded by Mr. Thurlow, Watson and c/o account of 7/9 be passed for payment. Correspondence: on the motion of Mr. Gill seconded by Mr. Anderson correspondence be received and dealt with. Red Cross Piano: after discussion the piano at Radio Station presented to Red Cross Fund by G. Fisher be left over until Mr. V. G. Wheeler returns. Rules: on the motion of Mr. Stove seconded by Mr. Anderson a sub committee be formed to adopt new rules as per instructions from Head office. Sub committee consist of Mr. Glen, Mr. Gill, Mr. Sukroo and Sect. Forwarding of Money: on the motion of Mr. Gill seconded by Mr. Anderson the sum of £40 be sent to Headquarters, on the motion of Mr. Stove seconded by Mr. Gill £40 be sent by each trip S. S. Bambra whilst funds admit of this. Letters of thanks: on motion of Mr. Miller seconded by Mr. Gill letters of thanks be sent to Mr. Harbutt for kindness in playing music at Red Cross dances. Mrs. Ramsammy for presentation of nun. Mandolin : proposed by Mr. Stove seconded by Mr. Anderson Serty's action be endorsed re purchase of Mandoline for Red Cross Fund for £1.
