9 473/11 29th April, 1911. Sir,- I have received today letters from natives G. Shaw and Felix Jackemara, complaining that they have not received sufficient rations or rugs. I shall feel obliged if you will inform me of the scale of rations you are supplying to the natives on the indigent relief list each per week, also the number of blankets distributed, and to whom. I presume you are providing rations and blankets to those of the families of the indigent natives who are out of employment. Children under 7 years of age receive half and those above that age full rations. I have the honor to be, Sir, Your obedient servant, C.F.G CHIEF PROTECTOR OF ABORIGINES Mr. R. P. Lanigan New Norcia.
