8 New Norcia Mission Mr Gule Ap 27, 1911, Dear Sir I have been make reports to you in the past referring to the treating of the natives and myself about my rations. Well sir you were allowing me 24 lbs flour, 8 lbs sugar 1 lb tea, weekly, and so many lbs meat. Lanigan is only allowing me 12 lbs flour 3 lbs sugar ΒΌ of tea and he said he is not allowed to give me any rugs, and I tell you that I want them badly as the winter is setting in, also that he will not give me any more rations, than above mentioned, wishing you will give me a list of my rations allowed by the Government also that I sent you a (wire) the other day wanting to know if you sent reply, if so he won't let me see it, as I paid for reply the mission said that they can't supply my rations to the natives at without ? from you, I am sir your servant George Shaw DATE STAMP (ABORIGINES AND FISHERIES DEPARTMENTS 29 APR 1911) In Margins (Please reply by next mail and oblige G.
