7 New Norcia Mission April 27th 1911 Mr Gale Dear sir Just a few line referring to the treatment of the natives, Well sir one particular person named Jackemara, reports that he is not getting fairly treated, only receiving 50 lbs of flour every two weeks, 24 lbs of sugar, 1 lb tea, meat 6 lbs and that is all, receiving no tobacco, no money, Well sir, I want you to kindly let me know if I can to get the money or the smokes or if they are beating me for it, also about rugs well I am getting one and my wife is getting the same and I think we ought to get two each, and we have three little children they get nothing at all. To hoping you will see into the matter and oblige.
