1 New Norcia Dec, 22nd 1910, Mr Beachell, Dear Sir, I am writing to you in reference rations, I have been refused an accounts received from you and will not give rations to without forms I went to him to him but he would not listen to me so I wish you would shake them up a bit for they take no notice of a sick native up this way I have been up to there buriel?? since I arrived and been told to go to Lanigan the shopkeeper the ? ? said that he has got nothing to do with giving rations to sick natives, Well in as far as looking after the natives are this New Norcia Mission, is no home for the native at all, they keep a few hands here to carry bricks because they are cheap, but I can assure you that if they are sick they have got no time for the sick native, wishing you would see in to matters as this is not a home for the native at all, Send reply, New Cable Office c/o Mrs W Murphy I am Dear sir Your servant George Shaw Date Stamp: Aborigines and Fisheries Department - 29 Dec 1910.
