Clothes for their waves and families and I am sure that the general public would not be pleased when entering an hotel to be jostled about by a lot of ragged half drunken natives which this is no doubt would be the case. And during the past four years I have been at this station and It was with great difficulty and danger. I got the natives in any sort of order and even by exempting one of them from the act would almost be a sure means of upsetting all that has been done by myself as well as the Toodyay and Gomalling Police. If ever this comes to pass I am sure a police station will have to be reopened at New Norcia as the people there have a difficulty with these same natives whenever they are at New Norcia and get drunk. John Celhio Cervo 293 Chief Brandon of Aborigines I concur and recommend application be refused. 31-1-12 ?SIGNATURE? STAMP:(ABORIGINES AND FISHERIES DEPARTMENT 1-FEB 1912) Sec. File to be forwarded to district police officers- as proposed for referral. - as 6.2.12 ?SIGNATURE?
