450/ 39 91 JC/F 1197/39 24th February, 1942. The Superintendent, Moore River Native Settlement, MOGUMBER. Constable McCaskill of Northampton has advised me that he has consulted Charlie Oxenham regarding his two children, Charlie and Margaret Oxenham, who are in- mates of your Institution. The father advises that the children have already been baptised in the Catholic Faith and, therefore, are to follow this religion. I cannot give permission for them to be baptised in the Church of England Faith and, therefore, should be pleased if you would pass this informa- tion on to Sister Eileen. (signature) A/G. COMMISSIONER OF NATIVE AFFAIRS. (Stamped: Native Affairs Records Inwards 26 Feb 1942)
