Narryer Station in August last are now at Moore River Native Settlement and it is proposed to have them baptised in the Church of England providing that they follow that faith. Have you any idea what religion, if any, the children adopted before they were removed to Moore River Native Settlement. Their parents, Kitty and Gil- bert, are deceased. Yours faithfully, Signature COMMISSIONER OF NATIVE AFFAIRS. JC/F 450/39 18th April, 1941. Constable H.C. Catt, Protector of Natives, BEVERLEY One of Beale Ugle's children, Lizzie Ugle, is an inmate of Moore River Native Settlement and it is proposed to baptise her in the Church of England providing her father consents. Would you kindly ascertain from Beale Ugle whether he has any objection to his daughter being baptised in the Anglican Faith. I understand Ugle is employed in your district.
