30 JC/F 450/39 18th April, 1941 The Manager Murgoo Station via MULLEWA Dear Sir, Have you any idea whether the boy Bobbie, who was removed to Moore River Native Settlement in August last followed any religion. It is proposed to baptise him in the Church of England if no objection is forthcoming. His mother is the native woman Cinderella. If he has no religion would you kindly ask Cinderella whether she consents to her boy following the Anglican Faith. Yours faithfully, signature COMMISSIONER OF NATIVE AFFAIRS. JC/F 450/39 18th April, 1941. Constable D. McMahon, Protector of Natives PORT HEDLAND. On the 14th September last, Mrs. Mary Todd returned to Port Hedland from Moore River Native Settlement on the M.V. "Koolama". It is now pro- posed to baptise her three children at Moore River Native Settlement viz. Dan, Don and Mavis Todd, in the Church of England providing Mrs. Todd gives her consent. Would you be kind enough to get in touch with Mrs. Todd and ascertain whether she has any objections to the Baptism of her children in the Anglican Faith. Signature COMMISSIONER OF NATIVE AFFAIRS.
