76 D.C.N.A. Approval required to baptise children, as listed by Sister Eileen, in Anglican faith. Remarks given against each name and each case for your consideration, please. Elsie Gilbert Mick Gilbert. The parents of these children, full-bloods Kitty and Gilbert are deceased so I presume you have no objection to their being baptised as Anglicans. We have no record of their possessing any religion at present. (Make enquiries at Station) Amy Robinson. She is a half-caste who was removed from the Marble Bar district, her mother being a full-blood. I presume you have no objection to her being baptised in Anglican faith. (approved) Mary Robinson Edna " John " Jimmy " Michael " Reuben " Daphne " The mother of the Robinson children is at the settlement so she will be able to decide if they are to be baptised in the Anglican faith. Religion not known in our records. (Yes consult mother) Jack Yates Joyce Yates. Permission was given to baptise them in Church of England faith on 18.8.38 but they were not baptised at the time so I presume the permission still holds good. (approved) Dan Todd Don Todd Mavis Todd. Religion not known, their parents were married in the Registrar's Office. Mother has been in settlement but has returned to Port Hedland. Have you any objection to their baptism in Anglican faith? (???) Cella Minit @ Dorrie. These children are half-castes brought from Rocklea Station and most likely followed no religion before being brought to the Settlement. Have you any objection to their baptism as Anglicans? (approved) Colin Kalyun Dennis " Tim " . Their sister Ruby was confirmed in the Church of England faith so I presume there is no objection to their being baptised in the same faith. (The parents are Anglicans)(approved) Bob of Shark Bay. The only Bob we know is Bob - quadroon of Murgoo Station who was removed to the Settlement 24.8.40. His mother is at Murgoo and religion is not known. Do you object to his baptism in Anglican Church. (Make inquiries at station) Kenny Jack. This boy is the son of Ivy Binder- full-blood and Warren Jack - full-blood. Constable Meyer of Three Springs reported he is a Roman Catholic so I presume we must object in this case. (object) Lizzie Ugle. Religion not known. Her mother Emily Ugle is deceased and father Beale Ugle is in Narrogin district. Have you any objection to their baptism in Church of England faith. (ask Beale Ugle ) (Signature)
