White if Capt Miles or other of our officers could make air reconnaissance as navy gave us no information & we cannot locate Enemy Guns. About 4 p.m. Turks violently attacked right centre of our line. I was in 7' Battery emplacement at time & saw Turkish advance. We enpeaded them with Gun fire at 1000 yds. but the Turks gallantly continued notwithstanding heavy losses. After half an hour the attack died away.
