G.O.C. Army Corps. (Anzac.) called to see me re raid on SUNRAY trench. Feby. 13th milder part thaw Inspected Div Train at Frecourt & BECOURT. (L' Col. Francis Comg) inspection satisfactory To Conference with G.O.C. 15th Infy Bde. G.S.O.1 - C.R.A. O/C. 57 Bn & BM. 15th Infy Bde re raid on 14th inst conference at 15th Bde. H.Qs. Feby 14th fine clear & cold. 1st Anzac Army Corps. Comd called re raid tonight. One of our planes brought down yesterday. another today in both cases pilot & observer killed Feby 15th fine & clear. Went with G.S.O.2. to inspect Div School at MONTONVILLERS. found things satisfactory. (Commander 2nd Col MASON). addressed Officers in the Mess Room afterwards spoke to all units on parade. XX This morning was saluted by H.R.H. The Prince of Wales who I met riding along the Road near RIBEMONT. Feby 16. fine clear day. 'X' Bosche Air Raid this morning just at day break Bombs dropped all round here & M. G. fire daringly used.
