I said I was prepared to do so, but as I should have to put in the 8th Bde, it would leave me no Div Reserve. I also pointed out my people had now been in the line a long time. However I am to take over the sector. (this makes me responsible for the line from LESBEOEUFS to BAPAUME RD. West of THILLOY, about 10,000 X of line I am to have another F.A. Bde. 5th M.G. Bde. & the call on the 3rd Infy Bde as a reserve. (I also have a Bn. of the 8th Infy. Bde. now being used as a Working Party.) March 11th. very fine bright day 'X' Inspected right Sector with G.O.C. 14th Infy Bde. Good deal of aerial activity - reported 6 planes came down within 5 mins this morning result of air fighting Arrangements made to complete the taking over new left Sector by 8 a.m. 13th inst.
