Attended Church Parade of 8th Infy Bde. at Albury Camp. very fine Band & very good service although air craft were dodging about overhead & one involuntarily thought of bombs. At 2 pm. Inspected 5th Aust Div Signal Company. very pleased with general turnout. O/C Capt. Stanley. 'X' Sent in my recommendations to G.O.C Army Corps recomng reduction of Rations to 1 lb Bread & 1 lb meat per diem 6 oz cheese 5 oz Butter. other rations to stand further though Bread might still be further reduced by 2 oz. & meat same.
