arrived at OXFORD at after lovely two days trip on River dined Golden X Hotel. arrived Richmond 1.15 am Augst 26th Showery Church in morning at Sister's at Teddington in afternoon Col. Hearne came to Hotel Stuart in Evening. Augst. 27 Cold gloomy day rained from midday To Hampton & Teddington with children in morning. Took Children & Wife to pictures in evening - in Richmond Tuesday Augst 28 Wet rough day Went to A.I.F. H.Qs. - met Col Ryan Col. Maudsley - afterward to War Office & saw Col Flemming then to H. Com for Australia's Office & met Col. Buckley & Capt Collins. Mrs Wagstaff to lunch at Carlton. Col. Hearne & Wife present. Wednesday Augst. 29th Rough showery day To Malden to see my father Wife & Clara with me also met my Brother Herbert there Augst 30th Gloomy & Showery.
