awkward stupid things amusing from their very ugliness. Yesterday at dinner an Albatross was shot, and the dingy was lowered to get it in It measured when its wings were fully extended 11 feet, and was really a beauty The down is very good and so thick and soft The Captain has had a purse made of the skin of its claw which Lenox and I agree is much larger than dear "Louisa's atom." We are now cruising on delightfully 7 knots an hour with a bright day a smooth sea and a delicious air this they tell me is the Swan River climate In four days we should see land The land which is henceforth to be the abode of all our interests hopes and affections.
